Candy Corn and a Good Cause

I came up with a caramel chocolate apple that looks like a candy corn in honor of Halloween.  What do you think?  I  know they make me hungry.  I put these together to donate to a Halloween Fair Fundraiser hosted by a school in the Marriott-Slaterville area.  They are using them as prizes.  I love a good cause, especially when it relates to children and their future.  Good luck with the fair.

Craft Show Fun!

I have spent the last two weeks preparing for booths at a couple of different craft shows, Scraps of Simplicity and Studio 48.  They were a lot of fun and I met some great people.  I look forward to hearing back from some of you about catering some of your events.  Here are a few pictures from the Scraps of Simplicity show.

Sometimes the booth was so crowded you could barely move.

This one was a crowd favorite:  Caramel and Chocolate Dipped Krispies.

The pumpkin rolls were a big hit and sold out first in both shows.  Here you can also see the packages of Caramel and Chocolate Dipped Pretzels.

Eccles Conference Center

I had a great time a few weeks ago at the International Trade Show hosted by the Eccles Conference Center.  Sager Sweets was hired as one of two vendors to cater the desserts for this sold out event.  Over 1000 people were expected to attend.  The booth was a hit!  Here are a few pictures of the booth at the end of the event.

I really enjoyed working with Eccles Conference Center.  They were great hosts and very easy to work with.  I look forward to more events with this great organization.

My Second Wedding Event!

One of my favorite events was a wedding in South Ogden.  It was so fun to be a part of this couple's big day.  I came up with a cute bride and groom set of apples that were displayed next to the cake.  It was a lot of fun.  Congratulations T&K!

Scraps of Simplicity - October 17!

I'll be at the Scraps of Simplicity craft show on Saturday October 17th.  You can check out their blog here.  This a fun show with prizes and quite a variety of vendors with some cute items.  This is definitely worth a visit.  I'll have a variety of all my yummy treats including the new favorite chocolate covered rice krispy treats.  I look forward to seeing you there.

Apple Flavors and Pricing

Caramel Apple Pie:
A combination of crisp Granny Smith apple, chewy caramel, white chocolate, and Apple Pie Spice. Filled with sweet Cheese Cake cream. Garnished with caramel sauce and topped with a blend of apple pie spice.

Key Lime:
A combination of crisp Granny Smith apple, chewy caramel, white chocolate, coated with a tangy lime sugar. Filled with a tangy lime cream. Garnished with key lime sauce and topped with a lime wedge.

White Chocolate Raspberry:
A combination of crisp Granny Smith apple, chewy caramel, white chocolate, and white chocolate ribbons. Filled with a fresh raspberry cream. Garnished with raspberry sauce and topped with fresh raspberry.

Coconut Cream:
A combination of crisp Granny Smith apple, chewy caramel, white chocolate, coated with coconut. Filled with fresh coconut cream. Garnished with toasted coconut. 

Cookies & Cream:
A combination of crisp Granny Smith apple, chewy caramel, white chocolate, and coated with crushed Oreo cookies. Filled with sweet Oreo cream. Garnished with mini Oreo cookies.

Almond Joy:
A combination of crisp Granny Smith apple, chewy caramel, milk chocolate, coated with almonds. Filled with fresh coconut cream. Garnished with chocolate sauce and topped with almonds.

Grasshopper:
A combination of crisp Granny Smith apple, chewy caramel, milk chocolate, coated with crushed Oreo cookies. Filled with fresh mint cream. Garnished with caramel sauce and topped with mini Oreo cookies.

Cherry Cordial:
A combination of crisp Granny Smith apple, chewy caramel, milk chocolate, coated with milk chocolate ribbons. Filled with wild cherry cream. Garnished with chocolate sauce and topped with a maraschino cherry.

Chocolate Overload:
A combination of crisp Granny Smith apple, chewy caramel, dark chocolate, coated with milk chocolate and white chocolate ribbons. Filled with rich chocolate cream. Garnished with chocolate sauce and chocolate curls.

Chocolate Turtle:
A combination of crisp Granny Smith apple, chewy caramel, milk chocolate, and coated with chopped Pecans. Filled with a sweet vanilla cream. Garnished with chocolate and caramel sauce topped with pecans.
